AAJ Tiling is a small hands-on team. The same tradesmen who quote your job are the ones who turn up and lay the tile — nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you have never met.
We take on everything from a single leaking shower through to a full bathroom renovation or a commercial floor. Surfaces get prepared properly, waterproofing is done to Australian standards, and the site is left clean at the end of each day.
Big job or small, the process is the same: look at the site, quote the real scope, prepare the surface, then tile it once and tile it right.

We sit down with the room in question — how it is used, how wet it gets, how much traffic it takes — and shortlist tile and grout that actually suit it. Bring your own samples if you already have favourites.

The finish is decided here. Slabs are levelled, uneven walls made straight, wet areas waterproofed and left to cure. A dry, clean, flat substrate is what stops tiles drumming or cracking later.

Set-out is marked so cuts land where they should, tiles go down with the right adhesive, then everything is grouted, sealed and cleaned off. We walk the job with you before we call it done.
If something is not right, we come back and fix it. That is the whole guarantee — no fine print.
Strip-out, waterproofing, screed and tile handled in the right order so trades are not tripping over each other.
We would rather spend an extra hour on a cut than have you living with it for ten years.

We are based in Lidcombe and work right across Sydney — the Inner West, CBD, Parramatta and the greater west, the Hills, South Sydney, the Sutherland Shire, the Eastern Suburbs and the North Shore. If you are unsure whether we reach you, call and ask.
No. Quotes are free. For small jobs a few clear photos and measurements are often enough; for bathrooms and larger areas we prefer to see the site so the quote reflects the real condition of the walls and floor.
A straight re-tile of a small bathroom is usually a couple of days. A full renovation with strip-out, waterproofing and curing time is commonly one to two weeks depending on trades and tile choice. You get a day-by-day plan with your quote.
Often, yes. Where the tiles and substrate are sound, a leak can be traced and sealed without a full strip-out. Where water has already got into the sheeting or the fall is wrong, a re-tile is the honest answer — we will tell you which one you are looking at before we start.
Send through the room, the rough size and a couple of photos — we will come back with a clear quote.
